香港回歸前後的景況就像一場情節豐富的戲劇，為本地藝術家提供了不少創作的靈感。此外，香港一直深受各地華人藝術家關注，他們不時以獨特的角度去闡釋香港這樣一個獨特的群體。是次展覽邀請了中港台幾代藝術家，以不同媒體如油畫、水墨及攝影出發，勾畫出他們腦海中的香港印象與輪廓，讓觀眾玩味他們筆下交織出的香港大世界。
展覽於十二月二日星期二晚上六時三十分開幕，屆時參展藝術家之一朱興華先生將聯同縈音樂社的郭家強先生、黃惠霞小姐及梁逸詩小姐演唱粵曲助興，弘揚本地的藝術精萃。
Hong Kong has always provided a rich subject for local artists. As a special political zone of China with intense drama surrounding the transfer of sovereignty, Hong Kong is also featured in the imagination of Mainland and Taiwanese artists. Their interpretations conjure up a hybrid yet panoramic impression of this unique metropolis.
This exhibition showcases works by 17 artists from the Greater China region in oil, ink painting, and photography. It will open at 6:30pm, Tuesday, 2 December 2008. On opening night, veteran painter Chu Hing Wah will perform with the local Cantonese Opera group "Suround Sound" to celebrate the occasion with an authentic touch of Hong Kong culture.
